Tim Tebow, Wife Demi-Leigh Announce They're Expecting Child in Social Media Video

Former NFL and Minor League Baseball player Tim Tebow announced Tuesday that he and his wife, Demi-Leigh, are expecting a child.

Tebow, a former Heisman Trophy winner for the Florida Gators, appeared in 35 games across his NFL career for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, throwing for 2,422 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions while rushing for 989 yards and another 12 scores.

He was also a member of the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars, though he never played a regular-season game for any of them.

Following his NFL tenure he briefly attempted a baseball career, hitting .223 with 18 homers and 107 RBI in four separate seasons. He reached Triple-A ball in the 2019 campaign but hit just .163 with a .495 OPS for the Syracuse Mets. He never appeared in an MLB game.
