WWE's Triple H Jokes About Quinyon Mitchell's 'Pedigree': 'Don't Try This At Home'
Philadelphia Eagles rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell's celebration after his game-sealing interception in Sunday's NFC Wild Card Game against the Green Bay Packers caught the attention of WWE legend and chief content officer Paul "Triple H' Levesque.
Mitchell picked off Packers quarterback Jordan Love's pass to the end zone with 1:%1 left in the fourth quarter to preserve a 22-10 win for the Eagles. Afterward, he and his teammates celebrated by staging a wrestling match that ended with him hitting the "pedigree," which is Triple H's signature move.
Triple H was impressed by Mitchell's reenactment and took to social media to let him know:
For Mitchell, it was his first career NFL interception, and it came in the postseason. During the regular season, the 2024 No. 22 draft pick appeared in 16 games and totaled 46 tackles and 12 passes defended.
Perhaps Mitchell will have another celebration in store if he's able to make another big play during the Eagles' Division Round matchup next week.
