Jalen Brunson, Knicks Criticized By NBA Fans in Blowout Loss vs. SGA, Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the New York Knicks on Friday night, winning at Madison Square Garden by the final score of 126-101.

The Thunder jumped out to a 31-17 lead at the end of the first quarter and didn't look back, maintaining a double-digit advantage for the remainder of the contest. Oklahoma City led by as many as 30 points.

Wemby Admits to Finals Fatigue

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was sharp on both ends of the floor, finishing with 39 points and three rebounds to go along with two steals in 29 minutes. He shot 15-21 from the field, hitting his only three-point attempt of the game.

For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson led the way with 27 points and five assists on 7-15 shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, but Josh Hart was the only other member of New York's rotation to finish with more than 11 points.

Fans called out the poor performance from the Knicks, as they've now lost four of their past five games.

Shooting issues have become apparent for New York, entering Friday's matchup with a 32.1 three-point percentage in the team's previous 10 games (via NBA.com).

The Knicks hit a mere four of their 31 attempts from behind the arc against Oklahoma City.

Friday's loss dropped New York to 25-14, while the Thunder improved to 31-6 and now hold a six-game lead for the No. 1 spot in the Western Conference standings.
