Video: Shedeur Sanders Reacts to 2025 NFL Draft Order, Titans Landing No. 1 Pick

Scott PolacekJan 7, 2025

Shedeur Sanders is ready to star in the NFL no matter where he goes.

"I love it," he said on Tuesday's episode of his podcast when discussing the order of the 2025 NFL draft that has the Tennessee Titans picking first (7:55 mark mark).

"I've been doing a lot of thinking. What's meant to happen is going to happen. I don't feel like God would put me in a place I'm not supposed to go. We've made it everywhere we've gone and been successful. … I'm happy with the order. Whatever happens happens."

The comments come after Sanders turned heads last month with custom New York Giants cleats when it appeared as if the NFC East team was going to land the No. 1 pick. He also previously shared an Instagram story with Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium captioned with the word "legendary," leading some to speculate he wanted to go to the Raiders.

New York has the No. 3 overall pick of the draft, while Las Vegas checks in at No. 6.

Yet Sanders may not be available by the time those two teams make their selections.

B/R's NFL Scouting Department projected the Colorado quarterback to go No. 1 overall to the Titans in its latest mock draft, although analyst Dame Parson explained that is not because he is the top overall player.

"Sanders is not B/R's QB1," he said, "but he comes off the board here due to scheme fit more than anything. Titans head coach Brian Callahan is accustomed to success with accurate quarterbacks who can play on time and hit their designated reads."

Sanders would bring plenty of star power to the Titans if he was the No. 1 pick, and he seems open to that possibility given his reaction to the draft order after the end of the 2024 regular season.
