NFL Playoff Odds 2025: Super Bowl Lines for AFC, NFC Bracket Contenders After Week 17
There are seven playoff spots in each NFL conference. Six have now been claimed in both.
The last Wild Card spot in the AFC is still up for grabs, as is the NFC South division title. There are other seed lines and divisions to sort out, but those are the only two remaining races with a playoff berth at stake.
The football world has its clearest glimpse yet of the 2024-25 playoff picture. Oddsmakers, meanwhile, have as much data as ever to sift through that field and find the top championship contenders. We'll break down their findings here by laying out the latest Super Bowl odds from DraftKings Sportsbook before highlighting both a heavyweight contender and a sleeper who could be worth your wager.

Granted, Detroit's history suggests you should stay away from this team. The Lions have not only never won a Super Bowl, they are the only NFC team to have never made an appearance.
But these aren't your older siblings', parents' or grandparents' Lions. They are unencumbered by those past flops and are borderline unbeatable in their present form.
Their .867 winning percentage ranks third overall, while their plus-194 point differential paces the league. They have the second-most points scored and the fourth-fewest points allowed. They can win (and have won) games in every conceivable fashion, from nail-biters to blowouts, grind-it-out defensive battles to all-offense shootouts.
Their roster is loaded, and it could grow deeper if they wind up getting the likes of Aidan Hutchinson and David Montgomery back from injury. Setting their history aside, it seems a little hard to imagine that they aren't universally regarded as the favorite in this field based on the season they're having.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3000

Given that their are a dozen teams with playoff berths in hand, there might be some trepidation about backing a team that has yet to secure its postseason spot. As long as Tampa Bay gets in, though, this looks like a club capable of making some noise.
Even the oddsmakers have admitted as much. Only seven teams have better Super Bowl odds than the Buccaneers, which should clue you in to something considering this club is just 9-7 and not guaranteed to reach the playoffs.
Tampa Bay is better than its record, though. Maybe a lot better. It is one of only seven teams with a triple-digit point differential, as the Buccaneers have outscored opponents by 109 points. That's a better mark than most teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs (plus-97).
The Buccaneers defense can be leaky, but this offense has enough juice to get past anyone, particularly in this single-elimination format. Baker Mayfield has become one of the best volume passers in the business, Mike Evans is brutally tough cover for anyone, Bucky Irving has upped the explosiveness of this running game and Cade Otton has produced some of the loudest stat lines at the tight end position. And while this defense is far from elite, it can cause some disruption with top-10 rankings in sacks (44, tied for seventh) and fumble recoveries (11, tied for fifth).
