Lamar Jackson Wows NFL Fans, Gets MVP Hype in Ravens' Christmas Day Win vs. Texans
The Baltimore Ravens picked up a dominant 31-2 win over the Houston Texans behind another MVP performance from star quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Jackson had 168 passing yards and two touchdowns on 10-of-15 passing along with 87 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground on four carries in the win. It was his third consecutive game with three or more total touchdowns.
Jackson also passed legendary quarterback Michael Vick's rushing yard numbers, making him the NFL's all-time leader for rushing yards by a quarterback.

Assisting Jackson in the strong offensive performance was Derrick Henry, who had 147 rushing yards and one touchdown.
It was a dominant performance from the Ravens' defense as well as they allowed just 211 yards of offense and held the Texans' offense scoreless. Houston's only points came on a safety.
After yet another spectacular performance, fans hyped up Jackson's MVP chances on social media.
Jackson and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen have been neck and neck in the MVP race all season, though Allen has arguably had the edge. Jackson's recent performances, including Wednesday, have propelled him right back up next to Allen, however, so it could go either way.
Allen will have the chance to boost his stats over the next two games as the Bills will face the New York Jets and New England Patriots to close out the season. Jackson has just one game remaining against the Cleveland Browns.
