Week 17 in the NFL features a tripleheader of Saturday games, and there's even more to be excited about with the playoff implications attached to each matchup.

On Monday, the NFL revealed the clinching scenarios that will be featured in each game of Saturday's tripleheader:

The Los Angeles Chargers (9-6) have the easiest path to the postseason with a win-and-in scenario. To make matters even more favorable, they're facing the New England Patriots, who are ranked last in the AFC with a 3-12 record. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has spearheaded a swift turnaround for the Chargers in his first year with the team, bringing it to the doorstep of the playoffs after it fell short of the postseason in 2023.

The second game on the schedule carries significant implications for both teams. The Denver Broncos, who are one of the biggest surprises in the NFL at 9-6, can clinch a playoff berth with a victory. Head coach Sean Payton has brought the best out of rookie quarterback Bo Nix and completed the Broncos' rebuild quicker than many had expected.

However, they will be playing a motivated Cincinnati Bengals (7-8) squad that will be fighting to keep its season alive. A win would give the Bengals the opportunity to earn a playoff spot in Week 18, while a loss would eliminate them from contention.

In the nightcap, the NFC West-leading Los Angeles Rams (9-6) can clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Arizona Cardinals (7-8). However, the Seattle Seahawks' matchup against the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football will impact the Rams' path to the postseason, as a loss by Seattle would allow Los Angeles to clinch the division title.
