Charlie Woods had an outstanding start to the PNC Championship on Sunday.

The son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods made the first hole-in-one of his career on the fourth hole of the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.

It's safe to say both Woods and his father were hyped by the special moment.

Tiger and Charlie Woods are playing at the PNC Championship for the fifth straight year this weekend. They had a share of the lead after the opening round following five straight birdies on the back nine on Saturday to finish 13-under 59 in the scramble format.

Team Woods' best finish at the event came in 2021 when they were the runners-up, but they're looking to finally win the father/son tournament this year. Charlie Woods' hole-in-one certainly helps.

Charlie Woods is having a good year thus far, shooting a 1-under-par 71 at the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship qualifier to earn a spot in the 264-player field at Oakland Hills Country Club's North in July.

After qualifying for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, Charlie Woods missed the cut after carding a 10-over 80 through two rounds.

Tiger Woods is competing in his first event since having back surgery in September. The legend struggled on the PGA Tour in 2024, missing the cut at three of the five events he played in. He finished 60th at the Masters and withdrew from the Genisis Invitational.

Though the season didn't go how he hoped, winning the PNC Championship alongside his son would be an outstanding way to close out the year.
