This comes after Moss announced on his Instagram page Friday he has been living with cancer and underwent surgery. He told his followers he returned home after he was hospitalized for six days, although he added he still needs to undergo "some chemo and radiation."

It wasn't just the old Vikings who were thinking about Moss.

Justin Jefferson scored the game's opening touchdown and shouted out the Hall of Famer:

After Moss made his cancer diagnosis public, the Vikings and New England Patriots offered their immediate support:

Moss played for the Vikings, Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers during his career, but he is most closely associated with Minnesota. After all, the NFC North team drafted him in the first round in 1998, and he was the Offensive Rookie of the Year and a five-time Pro Bowler during his first seven years.

He is widely regarded as one of the best wide receivers in NFL history, and the response to his diagnosis and the support offered by so many only underscores his legacy and overall impact.
