Tommy DeVito Out for Giants vs. Ravens with Concussion; Tim Boyle Enters as New QB
The New York Giants went into halftime of their game against the Baltimore Ravens facing a 21-7 deficit on Sunday, and they will now have to attempt a comeback without starting quarterback Tommy DeVito.
DeVito was ruled out with a concussion, which meant New York turned to Tim Boyle to start the second half.
This is yet another development for the Giants at the quarterback position, as they already released Daniel Jones earlier this season. What's more, Drew Lock was only available as a potential emergency quarterback after he was in a walking boot earlier this week.

At this point, New York entered play with a 2-11 record and is simply playing out the string of a lost season.
Boyle isn't going to change that as a veteran fill-in option who doesn't exactly inspire much confidence.
He has played for the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins in his career. He appeared in two games for Miami earlier in the 2024 campaign after it signed him to a practice-squad deal, however it released him in October.
That cleared the way for the Giants to add him for depth purposes, and he got his first opportunity with the team during an actual game on Sunday.
It wasn't an ideal situation to enter a contest, but New York likely won't have high expectations for the veteran as it finishes the game against the Ravens.
