Joey Chestnut Named 'Chief Eggnog Official' for Syracuse vs. WSU in 2024 Holiday Bowl

Professional eater Joey Chestnut has been given one of the United States' most prestigious and desired positions, according to multiple reports—Chief Eggnog Official for the Holiday Bowl.

Yes, that's right, Chestnut will preside over the "eggnog dump," one of our most treasured traditions in which the winning head coach has eggnog poured over him in celebration.

Not only does everyone universally love the taste of eggnog, but having it dumped all over your body is the greatest of honors.

As for the football game itself, merely the appetizer before the "eggnog dump" entree, the No. 21 Syracuse Orange (9-3) will face the 8-4 Washington Cougars. Syracuse is looking to end its season on a four-game winning streak after ending its regular season by beating Miami and ending the Hurricanes' College Football Playoff hopes.

Washington State, meanwhile, will be looking to halt a three-game losing streak after a promising start to the 2024 season.
