He'll be coaching Umar Nurmagomedov against Merab Dvalishvili in the co-main event and will also support Islam Makhachev in his clash with Arman Tsarukyan.

UFC president Dana White unveiled the fight card on Wednesday.

Umar, Khabib's younger cousin, is facing off with Dvalishvili for a shot at the bantamweight title.

The current champion is in the midst of an impressive 11-fight win streak and owns an overall record of 18-4. Dvalishvili's most recent victory occurred against Sean O'Malley at UFC 306, securing the bantamweight title.

Umar earned a title opportunity when he wrapped up a win over Cory Sandhagen by unanimous decision during his first UFC main event on Aug. 3. The 28-year-old holds an impressive 18-0 record.

As for Makhachev, the friend and longtime training partner of Khabib will look to defend his lightweight belt in a rematch with Tsarukyan. The pair previous fought in 2019, with Makhachev recording a unanimous decision win.

The 33-year-old owns a 26-1 record and has defended his title three times, taking down Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284 and UFC 294 before defeating Dustin Poirier on June 1 at UFC 302.

Tsarukyan has won four straight fights and has also emerged victorious in nine of his last 10 appearances, improving his overall record to 22-3.

UFC 311 will take place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California on Jan. 18.
