Maxx Crosby: 'I Feel Like I was Losing My Mind' at Points amid Raiders 2024 Struggles
Maxx Crosby, one of the best defensive players in the NFL, has seen little success over the course of his six seasons in the league.
The Las Vegas Raiders have reached the playoffs just one time during his tenure and have otherwise posted losing records. Things have been especially bad this year as the Raiders are 2-10 and on pace for their worst finish since drafting Crosby in 2019.
On SiriusXM NFL Radio's Let's Go! podcast (h/t NFL Network's Kevin Patra), Crsoby expressed his frustration with how the season has gone.

"Of course, I'm competitive as they come. I put all my time, and effort, and spirit and soul into this — into being the best version of myself," he said. "I care about winning more than anything on the planet. So, yeah, there were points in the season where I feel like I was losing my mind. I had to really reset."
Despite the Raiders' struggles during his time in Las Vegas, Crosby has emerged as one of the best talents in the league. Last season, he posted a career-high 14.5 sacks, 90 tackles and two forced fumbles. This year, he has 43 tackles and 7.5 sacks.
As good as Crosby has been, there's only so much he can do from his position. For Crosby to finally have a chance to compete for a Super Bowl, he might have to find a home elsewhere or hope the Raiders' front office can make a few big moves this offseason.
