Kirk Herbstreit Shares Letter from President Joe Biden Honoring Late Dog Ben

Kirk Herbstreit shared a letter that President Joe Biden wrote him sharing his appreciation for the ESPN broadcaster's late dog, Ben:

"Ben brought so much comfort and unconditional love to millions of Americans across our Nation," Biden wrote. "In your most joyful moments and most grief-stricken days, he was there, sensitive to every unspoken feeling and emotion.

"I know what it is like to lose a beloved pet, and I hope you can find some comfort in cherishing the beautiful memories you shared with Ben. He was a good boy."

Herbstreit announced Ben died at the age of 10 last month.

Ben was a familiar dog for college football and NFL fans, as he often appeared on ESPN's College GameDay or Amazon's coverage of Thursday Night Football alongside the broadcaster.

Herbstreit also narrated a video honoring Ben on the first episode of College GameDay after the dog's death:

Biden was clearly one of the people Ben impacted and expressed as much in his letter.
