Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has been named to Forbes' annual 30 Under 30 List for the Class of 2025.

A Forbes press release highlighted Tatum among other honorees:

"Boston Celtics guard Jayson Tatum, who has built a robust portfolio off the court, which Forbes estimates earns him $13 million annually and includes a sneaker deal with Nike's Jordan Brand, the cover of 2K Sports' latest NBA video game and a starring role in Netflix reality series Starting 5."

Forbes' Justin Birnbaum also spoke with Tatum for a sitdown interview. Of note, Tatum spoke about his first-ever NBA championship, calling it a "dream come true" (conversation begins at 1:33 mark).

Tatum led the Celtics to their 18th NBA championship last season, averaging 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists.

The five-time All-Star has made the All-NBA First Team each of the past three years, including a trio of top-six finishes in the NBA MVP voting during that span as well.

Boston knocked on the championship door for much of Tatum's tenure, even making the NBA Finals in 2022. The Celtics never got that elusive title but finally broke through in 2024, winning 80 games (including playoffs) and going 16-3 in the playoffs.

Tatum obviously played an integral role in that effort, and the Celtics are off to a great start in pursuit of back-to-back titles this year, going 17-4 thus far.

The 26-year-old has averaged 28.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game, and he's firmly supplanted himself in the NBA MVP race as well.

Tatum and the C's are currently on a roll, winning eight of their last nine. The Detroit Pistons are up next on Wednesday at home.
