2012 NFL Playoffs: A Song for Each Team

Let's kick off the NFL playoffs with a little music! For each of the 12 teams in the playoffs, I have selected a song to spin them on their way.

Some of the songs are puns on team names. Others require a little thought to figure out the match. And where I struck out, I just used the team's fight song.

Baltimore Ravens

The music is almost as dark as Edgar Allan Poe himself.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Can't you just imagine The Bus or Big Ben dancing to music like this?

New England Patriots

Is there a better nickname for the Patriots than the Brady Bunch?

Cincinnati Bengals

This song has as much chance of making the top-10 hit list as the Bengals have of winning a playoff game.

Denver Broncos

This is not a classic fight song, but it is funny.

Houston Texans

The Texans' fans still can't believe they are in the playoffs.

Green Bay Packers

Can we get these sweaters in hunter green and gold?

Atlanta Falcons

If the Falcons are going to advance, their rookie wide receiver will need to play a major role.

New York Giants

The Giants will advance as far as their quarterback will take them.

Detroit Lions

It was a toss-up between using this or Megatron music.

New Orleans Saints

A little Dixieland music is a great match here.

San Francisco 49ers

For a team that won all five of its Super Bowl appearances, you would expect a better fight song than this. But then again, the Eagles have the best fight song and have never won a Super Bowl.
