Early National Signing Day 2024: CFB Recruit Announcement Schedule, Predictions
Early national signing day has arrived, meaning some of the nation's top recruits are on the verge of making commitments to their future collegiate programs. While many of the top high school athletes have already committed, this week will still carry plenty of intrigue.
Several top recruits have only committed verbally, while others haven't committed at all. There's also time for players to flip, something quarterback Bryce Underwood recently did when changing his commitment from LSU to Michigan.
This cycle's early signing period will open on Wednesday and run through Friday. We can expect most uncommitted recruits to make their choices known in the coming days, though some may wait until the regular signing period opens on February 5.
Here, you'll find a look at what's ahead for the early signing window.

Preview and Predictions
3 of 3
As mentioned, fans should be on the lookout for recruits who could flip this week. Players like 5-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. (Tennessee) and 4-star linebacker Tavion Wallace (Arkansas) are committed but have made visits with other programs late in the season.
According to ESPN's Eli Lederman, Sanders and Wallace have visited Ohio State and Florida State, respectively.
Fans should also track 4-star defensive end Jahkeem Stewart, who remains uncommitted but has yet to schedule an announcement. According to 247Sports, he's expected to decide between Ohio State, Oregon, LSU and USC. Don't be surprised if he waits until the regular signing period to make an announcement.
As far as scheduled commitments go, defensive lineman Justus Terry is likely to command the most attention with his Friday announcement. The five-star recruit out of Manchester, Georgia is one of the 10 best players in the country.
He has committed to both Georgia and USC at various points in the recruiting process, and he may be leaning toward the Bulldogs again. But other teams are reportedly in the mix.
On3 insider Steve Wiltfong has reported that Texas is making a strong late push for Terry. Adam Gorney of Rivals believes Alabama is still in the mix.
"I can tell you that the longer this goes the more it gets interesting for Alabama," Gorney wrote.
The prediction here is that Terry ultimately goes the in-state route and recommits to Georgia.
Other predictions for top recruits? We'd expect 4-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell to land with Tennessee, while 4-star edge-rusher Javion Hilson follows Underwood to Michigan. South Carolina will snag a pair of talented recruits in Christian Ingram and Donovan Murph, while Oregon adds to its strong 2025 class with Tobi Haastrup. Pupualii Sepulona will head to Utah, Jakarrion Kenan will land with Clemson and Javin Gordon will begin his college career at the University of Cincinnati.
