Netflix released a first look at the series on Sept. 9. The streaming site describes as the show as "chronicling the defining moments of his life and career."
The newest trailer for Aaron Rodgers: Enigma shows Rodgers in Costa Rica, where he drank the hallucinogenic tea ayahuasca amid his recovery from the Achilles injury that cut short his 2023 season after four snaps.
The trailer also promised to address controversial statements made by Rodgers including his criticisms of vaccines.
Rodgers told McAfee the documentary would also provide insight into his career with the Green Bay Packers.
"There's some great backstory stuff from my 18 years in Green Bay, and some interesting interviews," Rodgers said. "It's pretty wide open."
Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, which Netflix says will also feature Brett Favre, Marshawn Lynch and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., will be released on Dec. 17.
