Week 13 DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football Picks, Lineup Tips for Sunday
Thanksgiving week brought a trio of Thursday NFL games, followed by a Black Friday matchup. So the Sunday slate for Week 13 is a bit lighter than usual for a week with no teams on a bye, with only 11 games on the docket.
However, there are still plenty of players as viable options for DraftKings lineups on Sunday. But daily fantasy managers will need to make the right choices in order to have success.
Here's some advice for those looking to jump into the DraftKings action to cap the holiday week.
Build a Texans Stack with Stroud and a WR
1 of 3
The Houston Texans have lost three of their past four games and four of their past six. But they have a prime opportunity to get back on track on Sunday, when they go on the road to face the AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Houston already beat Jacksonville in the first meeting between the two teams in Week 4.
In that previous matchup, Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud threw for 345 yards and two touchdowns while leading his team to victory. The 23-year-old should fare well again this time, and he's a wise investment for DraftKings lineup at a fair cost ($6,400).
The Jags are giving up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks and the third-most to wide receivers this season (per NFL.com). So it would make a lot of sense to stack a WR with Stroud in DFS formats this week.
Nico Collins ($7,900) is a great investment if you have the budget for him. Otherwise, Tank Dell ($5,900) or John Metchie III ($4,100) are solid options, especially because they'll leave you room to pay up on other spots in your lineup.
White Should Be Strong Value Play at RB
2 of 3
Even though Rachaad White hasn't been putting up huge yardage totals for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season, the 25-year-old running back has had decent fantasy outputs of late. That's because White has gotten into the end zone in five consecutive games, scoring six total touchdowns over that span.
White ($5,300) could keep that TD streak alive on Sunday. The Bucs are going on the road to face the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers, who are giving up the most fantasy points to RBs this season (per NFL.com).
It'll be the first time that Tampa Bay and Carolina face off this year. But it's easy to predict how this matchup is likely to go, as the Buccaneers should build a big lead early and easily cruise to a divisional victory.
If that's the case, then White should get plenty of touches and make the most of them. So feel confident playing him as a starting RB in DraftKings lineups.
Freiermuth Has High Ceiling in Favorable Matchup
3 of 3
If you're looking to save money in your DraftKings lineup to pay up at quarterback, running back and/or wide receiver, then you're likely eyeing a budget tight end. And this Sunday, a good choice for that role is the Pittsburgh Steelers' Pat Freiermuth ($3,500).
Freiermuth has been a bit disappointing from a fantasy standpoint this season. The 26-year-old has scored only three touchdowns, and he's had less than 20 receiving yards in four of his past six games.
But there's a good chance that Freiermuth will have a better showing this week. The Steelers are going on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals, who are giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season (per NFL.com).
Even if Freiermuth doesn't have a huge performance, he should fare well enough to be a solid option on DraftKings. And it wouldn't be a surprise if he finds his way back into the end zone for the first time since Week 10.
