Week 13 Fantasy Football Rankings: Guide for Top Players and Sleepers
It'll be a few more weeks before fantasy football championships are won and lost.
Fantasy playoff spots, though, will be up for grabs during Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season.
If you haven't snagged a seat at the postseason table yet, you better make sure you put your best foot forward this week. To help you do that, we're offering an early look at our top rankings and sleeper picks at the four skill positions.
Quarterback
1 of 4
Top 10
1. Lamar Jackson, BAL (vs. PHI)
2. Jalen Hurts, PHI (at BAL)
3. Joe Burrow, CIN (vs. PIT)
4. Josh Allen, BUF (vs. SF)
5. Justin Herbert, LAC (at ATL)
6. Patrick Mahomes, KC (vs. LV)
7. Jayden Daniels, WAS (vs. TEN)
8. Baker Mayfield, TB (at CAR)
9. Kyler Murray, ARI (at MIN)
10. Jordan Love, GB (at MIA)
Sleeper: Drake Maye, NE (vs. IND)
Things aren't always going to be perfect for a rookie quarterback, particularly one operating behind an offensive line with as many holes as New England's.
Maye has still found a way to make things happen, totaling 504 passing yards over his last two outings and throwing at least one touchdown pass in four consecutive contests.
He should have chances to keep making things happen against an Indianapolis Colts defense that has allowed 250-plus passing yards in four of its last five games (and two touchdowns without an interception in the other).
Mobile quarterbacks have also had success running against the Colts defense, meaning Maye has multiple paths to fantasy success this week.
Running Back
2 of 4
Top 10
1. Saquon Barkley, PHI (at BAL)
2. De'Von Achane, MIA (at GB)
3. Joe Mixon, HOU (at JAX)
4. Bijan Robinson, ATL (vs. LAC)
5. Christian McCaffrey, SF (at BUF)
6. Jahmyr Gibbs, DET (vs. CHI)
7. Josh Jacobs, GB (vs. MIA)
8. Derrick Henry, BAL (vs. PHI)
9. Alvin Kamara, NO (vs. LAR)
10. Breece Hall, NYJ (vs. SEA)
Sleeper: Rico Dowdle, DAL (vs. NYG)
When the Cowboys utilize Dowdle like a featured back, he usually finds his way to the kind of numbers you would expect.
Sunday marked the third time this season in which he has handled more than 15 touches. In those contests, he has averaged 17 carries, 3.3 receptions and 106.3 scrimmage yards. He also has two of his three touchdowns on the season in those outings.
If Dowdle sees anywhere this kind of volume against the Giants, he should be in line for a Thanksgiving feast. New York has allowed the most rushing yards per carry (5.2) and third-most rushing yards per game (147.9).
Wide Receiver
3 of 4
Top 10
1. A.J. Brown, PHI (at BAL)
2. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (vs. CHI)
3. Puka Nacua, LAR (at NO)
4. Nico Collins, HOU (at JAX)
5. Justin Jefferson, MIN (vs. ARI)
6. Ja'Marr Chase, CIN (vs. PIT)
7. CeeDee Lamb, DAL (vs. NYG)
8. Cooper Kupp, LAR (at NO)
9. Mike Evans, TB (at CAR)
10. Courtland Sutton, DEN (vs. CLE)
Sleeper: Xavier Legette, CAR (vs. TB)
Carolina's passing game has been the opposite of trustworthy, but Legette is still finding a way to put himself in fringe-starter or flex consideration. He's had 23 targets over his last four games, catching 15 of those passes and finding the end zone twice.
He's a bubble player most weeks, but a matchup with Tampa should nudge him closer to must-start status. The Buccaneers have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season, per Yahoo.
Tight End
4 of 4
Top 10
1. George Kittle, SF (at BUF)
2. Travis Kelce, KC (vs. LV)
3. Brock Bowers, LV (at KC)
4. Trey McBride, ARI (at MIN)
5. Cade Otton, TB (at CAR)
6. David Njoku, CLE (at DEN)
7. T.J. Hockenson, MIN (vs. ARI)
8. Dallas Goedert, PHI (at BAL)
9. Hunter Henry, NE (vs. IND)
10. Kyle Pitts, ATL (vs. LAC)
Sleeper: Taysom Hill, NO (vs. LAR)
While the floor drops out on Hill from time to time, his ceiling stretches as high as any at the position. The Saints utilize him in an all-purpose role, meaning pass attempts, carries and catches are all on the table in any given week.
The 34-year-old put everything on full display his last time out—eight receptions for 50 yards, seven carries for 138 yards and three touchdowns, plus an 18-yard completion—and while no one should expect a repeat, you can't rule out anything with Hill.
Plus, this is a decent matchup as the Rams have surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
