NFL Playoff Picture 2024: Week 13 Standings, Wild-Card Info, Super Bowl Bracket Odds
With Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season almost complete, the line of delineation between the league's haves and have-nots has never felt wider.
After the Philadelphia Eagles' 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, there are now five teams with at least nine victories and 12 have at least seven triumphs. Conversely, there are another dozen clubs with four or fewer victories, including three that have just two this season.
So, yes, even in this unpredictable, any-given-Sunday-style football world, the Super Bowl LIX race is coming fairly clearly into focus.
There is, of course, plenty still to sort out between now and the Feb. 9 championship clash, so let's dive deeper into the race by laying out the latest standings and Super Bowl odds with the Week 12 slate one game away from completion.

The Chiefs have managed to pull away from almost everyone in their bid to secure the No. 1 seed, but the Bills kept themselves in the hunt by preceding their Week 12 bye with a 30-21 home win over Kansas City.
The Steelers could have been right in the mix, too, but they lost Thursday night to their AFC North rival Browns. The Texans also had a chance to be within arm's reach, but they instead found themselves on the wrong end of the Titans' third victory of the year as they couldn't contain quarterback Will Levis, despite sacking him eight times.
Houston at least holds a comfortable edge in the AFC South. Pittsburgh, on the other hand, only has a one-game lead on Baltimore in the AFC North, and the Ravens could slice that in half by knocking off the Chargers on Monday night.
Barring a stretch-run surge by Indianapolis or Miami, the wild-card race may not be as wild as it's billed. The way things look now, the four current division leaders—the Chargers, Ravens and Broncos—will comprise the AFC side of the playoff bracket.

Drama is more readily apparent in the NFC. Well, drama with regard to setting the playoff field at least.
Maybe this conference is headed toward an inevitable collision between the Lions and Eagles with a Super Bowl ticket at stake. They aren't simply the top two seeds in the NFC, they're also first and third, respectively—with the Bills sandwiched between them—in scoring differential. They have earned their status as favorites to come out of the conference, in other words.
That being said, the Vikings and Packers are close enough to keep pressure on the Lions for the NFC North crown. If the Commanders can snap out of their three-game losing skid, they could do the same to the Eagles in the NFC East.
As for the other divisions, it's chaos in the NFC West, where a single game separates the top-seeded Seahawks from the last-place 49ers. No team has more than two division wins, and all four have exactly three conference victories. This will almost assuredly be a photo finish, and it's possible only the division winner cracks the playoff field.
Things could be that chaotic in the NFC South, too, if the Falcons had more competition. Instead, this will probably come down to Atlanta, which is 4-1 in the division and 6-2 against conference foes, and Tampa Bay, which has the superior point differential by 66 points. Maybe New Orleans, winners of two straight, also joins the chase, but this streak being preceded by a seven-game skid may have already sealed its fate.
