Anthony Richardson's Inconsistency Baffles NFL Fans as Colts Lose to Goff, Lions
Anthony Richardson's second game back as the Indianapolis Colts' started didn't go quite as well as last week when he led his team to a win.
The Colts fell 24-6 to the Detroit Lions on Sunday as Richardson threw for 172 passing yards and no touchdowns on an inefficient 11-of-28 passing. There were certainly some bright spots for Richardson, like a 30-yard pass to Michael Pittman Jr. and a 39-yard pass to Alec Pierce. He also had a few big plays called back for penalties.
Still, it was a mostly unimpressive performance from Richardson after he threw for 272 yards and a touchdown in last week's win over the New York Jets.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
After the loss, Richardson drew mixed reviews as fans noted his inconsistency.
Richardson's second year in the NFL hasn't gone the way he would have hoped after missing most of his rookie year due to injuries. Coming into Sunday's matchup, he had 1,230 passing yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions across seven games. His play against the Lions doesn't help his stats too much.
In Richardson's defense, his struggles weren't entirely his fault as his offensive line plus a handful of penalties didn't help him out. Still, he left Colts fans with much to be desired.
