Jones claimed on Thursday that he's done the same to the nine-time Pro Bowl tight end "so many times" in the past, per A to Z Sports' Charles Goldman.
"You guys recorded the one time that he caught me slipping," Jones said.
Both players have spent their entire careers on the Chiefs and have been teammates since 2016. They've become key pieces of a Kansas City squad that has won Super Bowl titles in each of the past two seasons and are both in the midst of strong 2024 campaigns.
Jones is on track to earn his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl nod, recording 22 pressures and three sacks to go along with a forced fumble. His presence in the middle of the defensive line is a major reason why Kansas City owns the NFL's third-best run defense.
As for Kelce, he overcame a slow start to the year and has now hauled in 60 receptions for 499 yards and two touchdowns. Over the past three weeks, he's amassed 254 yards on 32 catches.
Kelce and Jones will look to help the Chiefs remain unbeaten following an upcoming matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
