Week 11 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet: Deep Sleepers to Target

Kristopher KnoxNov 14, 2024

We've already seen 10 weeks of NFL action pass, which means we're one step closer to the fantasy postseason. These next few weeks will be critical for those in season-long leagues, and, unfortunately, bye weeks and injuries remain problematic.

We saw standout tight ends Dalton Kincaid (knee) and Sam LaPorta (shoulder) suffer injuries in Week 10, while the Dallas Cowboys announced that quarterback Dak Prescott will undergo season-ending hamstring surgery.

Week 11 will see the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on bye.

Managers may need to turn to the bench or the waiver wire to navigate the upcoming week. Here, you'll find a look at some deep sleepers who may still be available, along with updated point-per-reception (PPR) flex rankings.

With Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield on bye this week, some managers may need quarterback help. Fortunately, Pittsburgh Steelers signal-caller Russell Wilson is a viable waiver-wire target.

Wilson is rostered in only 22 percent of Yahoo leagues and 41 percent of ESPN leagues.

While Wilson isn't the scrambling threat he once was, he's learning to take advantage of a strong Steelers supporting cast. He only threw for 195 yards in Week 10, but he tossed three touchdown passes against a single interception.

This week, the Steelers will host the rival Baltimore Ravens. While Baltimore's defense can bring disruptive pressure, it has serious issues on the back end. Only the Buccaneers have surrendered more fantasy points to opposing QBs in 2024.

Other potential waiver-wire targets to consider include:

  • Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
  • Drake Maye, New England Patriots
  • Jameis Winston, Cleveland Browns

Audric Estimé, RB, Denver Broncos and Ricky Pearsall, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Viable RB options are in short supply this time of year, but managers can at least consider Audric Estimé of the Denver Broncos. Denver has been searching for someone to lead its backfield committee, and the rookie out of Notre Dame got his chance in Week 10.

Estimé led the Broncos with 14 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs. That's more carries than Jaleel McLaughlin, Javonte Williams, receiver Marvin Mims Jr. and quarterback Bo Nix had combined.

While Estimé hasn't been involved in the passing game this season, he may be Denver's high-volume back moving forward. His matchup against the Atlanta Falcons—who have allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to RBs—isn't ideal, but there's upside in adding Estimé. He's available in over 90 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues.

Other RBs to consider on the wire include:

  • Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans
  • Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
  • Ray Davis, Buffalo Bills

Managers can find more enticing options at wide receiver, and San Francisco 49ers rookie Ricky Pearsall stands out as a top target.

The Florida product has quickly become a prominent role player in San Francisco's offense and has been targeted at least four times in his three appearances. He caught four passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Week 10.

With Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle drawing plenty of defensive attention, Pearsall should get an opportunity to shine in Week 11. San Francisco will host the Seattle Seahawks, who have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing WRs.

Pearsall is available in over 60 percent of ESPN and Yahoo leagues. Other receivers to consider include:

  • Mike Williams, Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
  • Elijah Moore, Cleveland Browns

We don't always highlight tight ends because most managers roster two and only start one in any given week—it takes a special TE tandem to consider starting one in the flex spot. However, Trey McBride and Cade Otton are both on bye, and managers should consider adding insurance for Kincaid and LaPorta.

Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith should be a viable starting option in Week 11. He's become a regular piece of the offensive game plan and has seen 16 targets over the last three weeks.

Smith caught three passes on four targets for 45 yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10.

This week, Smith will face a Las Vegas Raiders defense that has surrendered the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing TEs. He's still available in over 70 percent of Yahoo and ESPN leagues. Other tight ends to consider on the wire include:

  • Mike Gesicki, Cincinnati Bengals
  • Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills
  • Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders
