NFL Draft 2025 Rumors: Carson Beck Gets 3rd-Round Grade from NFL Scout Amid Struggles
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has not helped his draft stock this season.
According to ESPN's Matt Miller, Beck is being considered anywhere from a first- to third-round prospect:
"The conversation around Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is fascinating. One AFC South scout told me this week he views Beck in the 'late-first-round range' because he's the 'cleanest' of the quarterback prospects in terms of frame, arm strength and scheme versatility. However, an NFC East scout told me his grade on Beck was the third round. The variance is big, and Beck hasn't helped himself, throwing multiple interceptions in four games this season, including four of his past six performances. He needs a hot streak down the stretch to rejuvenate his stock."

Final Consensus NFL Mock Draft 📝
In total, Beck has thrown for 2,488 yards, 17 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this season, completing 65.4 percent of his passes. He's currently on pace to throw for fewer yards and touchdowns and have a worse competition percentage than last season, and has already doubled his interceptions from a year ago.
Georgia, in the meantime, is now 7-2 and fighting for its College Football Playoff life, with games against No. 7 Tennessee, UMass and Georgia Tech remaining. Lose against Tennessee, and those CFP hopes could be extinguished, and Beck's chances at being a first-round pick may go out the window with them.
