
Shaboozey to Play NFL Thanksgiving Day Halftime Show During Bears vs. Lions
The Detroit Lions announced Sunday that musical artist Shaboozey will be playing the halftime show during the team's Thanksgiving Day matchup against their NFC North rival Chicago Bears.
The Lions will take on the Bears on Thursday, Nov. 28 at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

"Thanksgiving football is an iconic tradition in this country, and I'm hyped to be a part of it this year," Shaboozey told Billboard's Melinda Newman. "The Detroit Lions season has been pretty epic so far, and I'm excited to tap into that crazy energy their fans bring to Ford Field. I can't wait for America to see the show we've been working on for y'all."
Country music star Lainey Wilson will be performing the halftime show of the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day matchup with their NFC East rival New York Giants, while former America's Got Talent finalist and electric violinist and dancer Lindsey Stirling will perform at halftime when the Green Bay Packers host the Miami Dolphins on the holiday.
"The NFL on Thanksgiving provides artists with a massive platform that continues to grow, and we know this year's games will bring another unforgettable day of football, music, and unifying moments for fans watching across the country and around the world," the NFL's head of music, Seth Dudowsky, told Newman.
Last year's halftime performers on Thanksgiving were Dolly Parton (who performed at the Cowboys' game), Jack Harlow (Lions) and Steve Aoki (Seattle Seahawks).
