Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings: Latest Position-by-Position Rundown
Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season opened with a bang.
A whole series of them, actually. For fantasy football managers fortunate enough to have virtually any kind of exposure to the Thursday thrill ride that saw the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens score a combined 69 points in their back-and-forth affair, enjoy the head start you likely have on your opponent.
For those who find themselves on the wrong side of those early starts, the margin for error this weekend is out the window. Missteps must be avoided, and production has to be maximized. To help that happen, we're laying out our Week 10 rankings and spotlighting a sleeper at each of the four skill positions.
Quarterback
1 of 4
Top 10
1. Jalen Hurts, PHI (at DAL)
2. Josh Allen, BUF (at IND)
3. Jayden Daniels, WAS (vs. PIT)
4. Brock Purdy, SF (at TB)
5. Sam Darnold, MIN (at JAX)
6. Matthew Stafford, LAR (vs. MIA)
7. Patrick Mahomes, KC (vs. DEN)
8. Tua Tagovailoa, MIA (at LAR)
9. Kirk Cousins, ATL (at NO)
10. Jared Goff, DET (at HOU)
Sleeper: Daniel Jones, NYG (at CAR)
Trusting Jones hasn't been the soundest strategy this season, but don't you kind of half to trust everyone against the Panthers? They've allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks, per Yahoo, and the list of players to post multiple touchdowns against them includes Derek Carr, Caleb Williams, Marcus Mariota and Bo Nix.
That alone is reason enough to get excited about Jones, but it's worth noting he's coming off one of his best games of the season. Last week, he completed 76.9 percent of his passes and threw a couple of touchdowns while also adding 54 yards and a score on the ground.
Running Back
2 of 4
Top 10
1. Bijan Robinson, ATL (at NO)
2. Saquon Barkley, PHI (at DAL)
3. Alvin Kamara, NO (vs. ATL)
4. Christian McCaffrey, SF (at TB)
5. De'Von Achane, MIA (at LAR)
6. Jonathan Taylor, IND (vs. BUF)
7. Kyren Williams, LAR (vs. MIA)
8. Joe Mixon, HOU (vs. DET)
9. Breece Hall, NYJ (at ARI)
10. Aaron Jones, MIN (at JAX)
Sleeper: Jaylen Warren, PIT (at WAS)
Warren's workload is seldom enormous, but if he's even halfway involved in the game plan, he is talented enough to deliver fantasy-relevant numbers. He's had multiple receptions in all but one game, and the three times he's handled double-digit touches, he has averaged just under 60 scrimmage yards.
He is also way overdue for a touchdown, and he just might find it against a Washington defense that allowed five scores to running backs over its last four outings.
Wide Receiver
3 of 4
Top 10
1. Justin Jefferson, MIN (at JAX)
2. Malik Nabers, NYG (at CAR)
3. CeeDee Lamb, DAL (vs. PHI)
4. Garrett Wilson, NYJ (at ARI)
5. Amon-Ra St. Brown, DET (at HOU)
6. Davante Adams, NYJ (at ARI)
7. Drake London, ATL (at NO)
8. A.J. Brown, PHI (at DAL)
9. Puka Nacua, LAR (vs. MIA)
10. Deebo Samuel Sr., SF (at TB)
Sleeper: Quentin Johnston, LAC (vs. TEN)
With the Chargers getting more pass-happy of late, Johnston is getting more chances to show what he can do. And a player with his physical tools doesn't need a ton of touches to make a big impact. Just last week, he turned five targets into four receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Tight End
4 of 4
Top 10
1. George Kittle, SF (at TB)
2. Travis Kelce, KC (vs. DEN)
3. Cade Otton, TB (vs. SF)
4. Trey McBride, ARI (vs. NYJ)
5. Dalton Kincaid, BUF (at IND)
6. T.J. Hockenson, MIN (at JAX)
7. Hunter Henry, NE (at CHI)
8. Evan Engram, JAX (vs. MIN)
9. Kyle Pitts, ATL (at NO)
10. Jake Ferguson, DAL (vs. PHI)
Sleeper: Dallas Goedert, PHI (at DAL)
A healthy Goedert is someone who usually belongs in your lineup. In the last two games he completed before a hamstring injury sidelined him in Week 6, he managed 17 receptions on 19 targets for 232 yards.
