NFL Rumors: Eagles' A.J. Brown Day-to-Day With Knee Injury; Could Play vs. Cowboys
The Philadelphia Eagles' offense took a blow on Sunday when star receiver A.J. Brown exited their matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fortunately, Brown's knee injury is not too serious. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Brown underwent tests on Monday and is considered day-to-day heading into Philadelphia's meeting with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Monday's tests indicated no structural issues and said it is "more of a contusion than anything." Rapoport also noted that Brown has a chance to play this week.

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation
Beyond his day-to-day status, head coach Nick Sirianni had no further updates on Brown on Monday.
"We'll see how the week progresses," Sirianni said, per PHLY's Zach Berman. "... A.J. was in good spirits today. We'll see how it goes."
After an outstanding start to the season in the Eagles' opener when Brown logged 119 receiving yards and a touchdown, the sixth-year player missed three games due to a hamstring injury.
He made his return in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns and had 116 receiving yards and a touchdown.
In five games this year, Brown has totaled 444 receiving yards and three touchdowns. In Sunday's win over Jacksonville, he had just two receptions for 36 yards before exiting with the knee injury.
While three missed games have hurt his stats this year, Brown has been as effective as ever when on the field, recording the fifth-most yards per reception at 19.3. The Eagles' only two losses this year came when Brown was sidelined.
Whether Brown is on the field or not will certainly be a factor as the Eagles face the Cowboys this week, but even if he is unable to play Philadelphia should be able to manage against a struggling team.
Should Brown be absent from the contest, Jalen Hurts will look to DeVonta Smith to put together a big game. The fourth-year receiver leads the Eagles with 473 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season.
