
Jared Goff, Lions Praised by NFL Fans in Road Win Over Jordan Love, Packers
The Detroit Lions rolled past their rival on Sunday, beating the Green Bay Packers 24-14.
The win puts the Lions at 7-1 on the year and marks their sixth consecutive win.
It wasn't the offensive outburst fans have come to expect from Detroit, but that was somewhat expected given the harsh elements as rain poured down throughout the entire game.

Still, quarterback Jared Goff continued to be extremely efficient, completing 18 of his 22 passing attempts for 145 yards and a touchdown. He found his favorite target, Amon-Ra St. Brown for his sole passing touchdown.
On the ground, Jahmyr Gibbs picked up 65 rushing yards and a touchdown while David Montgomery rushed for 73 yards.
Though they were without Brian Branch for most of the game after the defensive back was ejected for helmet-to-helmet contact in the second quarter, the Lions defense held strong and allowed just six points until the final minutes of the fourth, though Green Bay's late touchdown proved to be inconsequential.
After another win for Detroit, fans applauded Goff and the Lions.
After a win over the Packers, the Lions are firmly in the driver's seat in the NFC North. They beat the Minnesota Vikings two weeks ago and took down their other top challenger on Sunday.
Detroit won its first division title since 1993 a year ago and seems well on its way to another this year. Now, the Lions are looking to continue inching towards the top seed in the NFC.
