Jameis Winston Will Remain Browns' QB1 After Win vs. Lamar Jackson, Ravens
After leading his team to an upset win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Jameis Winston will remain under center for the Cleveland Browns.
Per NFL insider Andrew Siciliano, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Winston would be the starter during Monday's press conference.
"Jameis is the starter," Stefanski said.

Winston took over as the Browns' starter last week after Deshaun Watson suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7.
Though it was his first start since 2022, Winston was electric, throwing for 334 yards and three touchdowns on 27-of-41 passing. He capped off the tremendous performance with a game-winning 38-yard touchdown pass to Cedric Tillman with just a minute left to play.
Winston's 334 yards set a franchise record for the most passing yards in a Browns debut.
"(Eminem) said 'you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow, this opportunity lasts once in a lifetime,'" Winston said after the win.
The win marked the Browns' first since Week 2, snapping a five-game losing skid that included losses to the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders and others.
With the win against the Ravens, Cleveland seems to have found new life and is now looking to turn things around to mount a playoff push. A 2-6 start certainly makes things difficult, but the Browns have a somewhat manageable slate in the coming weeks as they'll face the Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos.
If Winston can lead Cleveland past one of the best teams in the league, grabbing a few wins over the next month is well within reason.
