Video: Bears' Tyrique Stevenson Taunts Commanders Fans During Daniels-Brown Hail Mary
Tyrique Stevenson celebrated too early on Sunday.
Before the Washington Commanders' game-winning Hail Mary, the Chicago Bears cornerback was seen taunting the home fans as he awaited the throw from quarterback Jayden Daniels, which Stevenson tipped into the hands of receiver Noah Brown for the win.

In Stevenson's defense, the odds of Daniels completing the Hail Mary from his own 48-yard line were slim to none. Even after the play had started, Stevenson had time to continue taunting fans as Daniels scrambled around for more than 10 seconds before finally releasing the ball.
Stevenson's actions before the touchdown certainly weren't the only reason the Bears lost on Sunday, but had he been in a better position to make a play Chicago could have walked away with a win.
Instead, the Bears dropped to 4-3 on the season and Stevenson had to apologize to fans and his teammates on social media.
The Commanders, meanwhile, are off to their best start to a season since 2008, though that season ended with a second-half collapse as Washington failed to reach the playoffs. The Commanders are also 4-0 at home for the first time since 2005.
Much of their success can be attributed to star rookie Jayden Daniels, who has 1,736 passing yards, seven touchdowns and just two interceptions along with 424 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Riding the good vibes of Sunday's miraculous Hail Mary, the Commanders will face the New York Giants next week as they look to inch closer to their first postseason appearance since 2020.
