Jaxson Dart completed 22-of-30 passes for 311 yards and one touchdown to lead No. 18 Ole Miss to a 26-14 home victory over Oklahoma on Saturday.

Ole Miss trailed 14-10 going into halftime against a struggling Sooners team that just parted ways with offensive coordinator Seth Littrell and entered the week outside the top 100 in the nation in points per game.

But Dart got the Ole Miss offense moving in the second half and led the team to 16 points in fewer than 10 minutes of game time. The quarterback also notably went 14-of-17 for 218 yards in the second half as well.

With 9:34 left in the third quarter, Dart found Caden Prieskorn for a 24-yard touchdown, selling a fake screen to the Sooner defenders before firing a pass up the middle.

Dart later guided the Rebels on a seven-play, 83-yard drive capped by a one-yard TD rush from defensive tackle JJ Pegues.

Dart made two great plays on this drive. The first one came on 3rd-and-14 from the Ole Miss 25, when Dart escaped pressure and found Micah Davis for a 26-yard gain.

Later on, Dart found Jordan Watkins for a 34-yard deep ball down the sideline to set up the Pegues score.

Nine seconds into the fourth quarter, Caden Davis kicked a 42-yard field goal to give Ole Miss a 26-14 lead.

That was it for the scoring, as the Ole Miss defense came up big and shut the Sooners out over the final two quarters after allowing 235 first-half yards.

This was a huge win for Ole Miss, which suffered a devastating 29-26 overtime loss to LSU two weeks ago. During that game, Rebels wide receiver Tre Harris, who leads the nation with 987 receiving yards, suffered a lower body injury that forced him out of the game. Harris was questionable to play against OU but ultimately sat.

Ole Miss came off the bye week shorthanded without a superstar in Harris, but credit goes to Dart for a great performance despite the loss of the team's top receiver. Fans gave him his rightful credit.

The 6-2 Rebels (2-2 SEC) will now visit Arkansas next Saturday with their eyes on another win.
