Triple H Teases Raw's Move to Netflix in Video on Social Media: 'Hang on Tight'

WWE head of creative Triple H hyped Monday Night Raw's upcoming debut on Netflix with a post Friday on X.

As part of the post, Triple H included video of what appeared to be a shoot for either a Raw on Netflix commercial or possibly the new Raw on Netflix opening:

Back in January, Joe Otterson of Variety reported that Netflix and WWE had struck a deal that would pay WWE a total of $5 billion over 10 years in exchange for the exclusive streaming rights to Raw.

Since its inception in 1993, Raw has always aired on traditional television with USA Network being the home of WWE's weekly flagship show for the vast majority of the past three decades.

However, the move to Netflix represents a massive landmark in WWE history, and it could help grow the audience even more for a product that has been red hot over the past year.

Raw will continue to air on USA through the end of the year, but starting on Jan. 6, 2025, it will transition to Netflix and usher in a new era in WWE.

It isn't yet known what WWE has planned for the debit episode of Raw on Netflix, but it figures to be a star-studded affair.

John Cena, who previously announced that 2025 will be his final year as an active wrestler, has already said he will be present for the first Raw on Netflix, and it is probably safe to assume WWE will do everything in its power to have The Rock on the show as well.

Jan. 6, 2025, is less than one month out from Royal Rumble, which is one of WWE's biggest premium live events and the start of the road to WrestleMania, meaning Raw's launch on Netflix will almost certainly be a can't-miss event.
