Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese made an addition to her stable of endorsements, striking a deal with Cash App.

Cash App will sponsor Reese's Unapologetically Angel podcast and partner with her charitable foundation to renovate a public basketball court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

"I'm proud to collaborate with a brand like Cash App that shares my vision in creating a lasting impact on and off the court and providing opportunities for fans to authentically disrupt the sport and grow the game for future generations," she said Monday.

"I founded the Angel C. Reese Foundation to give back and I'm thrilled we'll also be able to collaborate with Cash App to renovate a basketball court in Louisiana where I have so many incredible memories and a special connection with the wider community."

Reese became one of the biggest stars in college basketball during her two-year run at LSU, and her popularity has followed her to the WNBA.

The 6'3" forward provided some insight into the scale of her off-court earnings when she divulged her salary from the WNBA isn't enough to account for her rent. She made $73,439 in her first season while paying $8,000 monthly for her living accommodations.

Before suffering a season-ending wrist injury, Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds across 34 appearances. She finished runner-up in the Rookie of the Year voting behind the Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark.

A major windfall is coming to all WNBA players once they sign a new collective bargaining agreement that accounts for the league's increased media rights deal. For Reese, what she makes from basketball will probably still fail to keep pace with her sizable endorsement portfolio.
