On the day of his 82nd birthday, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones watched the team suffer a blowout loss, falling 47-9 to the Detroit Lions.

As Dallas face a 3-3 start to its season with all three losses taking place at home, Jones said that the loss was "very concerning" and "very humbling," according to The Athletic's Jon Machota.

"This was a shocker," Jones continued to tell reporters following the loss.

When asked if he was considering making personnel changes, Jones replied that he was not yet ready to discuss that and stated he was "not considering" a coaching change, per Machota.

Jones purchased the Cowboys for $150 million back in 1989 and immediately made big personnel changes including firing long-time head coach Tom Landry.

Since being under Jones, Dallas' record is been 315-254 including 16 playoff wins and three Super Bowl championship in 1992, 1993 and 1995.

After dominating the 1990s alongside the Cowboys, Jones was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame as an owner in 2017.

Despite going 12-5 in each of the last three seasons and making one playoff appearance, the Cowboys have not advanced beyond the divisional round since their last Super Bowl victory in 1995.

The Cowboys will use the upcoming week to recuperate as they head into their bye week.
