Bengals vs. Giants: Updated Odds, Money Line, Spread, Props to Watch for SNF

Joe TanseyOct 13, 2024

The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 6 as the NFL team in most desperate need of a win.

They started 1-4 and one more loss could make it too hard for them to claw back into the AFC wild-card race.

Joe Burrow and Co. have an easy matchup on paper on Sunday night against the New York Giants.

The Giants surprisingly have a better record than the Bengals at 2-3, but they are limited on offense with Devin Singletary and Malik Nabers out.

New York had success against the Seattle Seahawks without those two players, but if it is forced to play a high-scoring game with the Bengals, the result could be much different on Sunday night at MetLife Stadium.

Spread: Cincinnati (-3.5)

Over/Under: 47

Money Line: Cincinnati (-185; bet $185 to win $100); New York Giants (+154; bet $100 to win $154)

The Bengals are favored for the fourth time this season. They are 2-3 against the spread and 1-2 ATS as a favorite.

The Giants have yet to close as a favorite in 2024. They are 3-2 ATS as an underdog and they covered in each of the last three weeks as an underdog of five or more points.

Cincinnati has been an over machine with a 4-1 mark to the total, but the Giants are 4-1 to the under with the only over cash coming in the Week 5 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Joe Burrow Over/Under 261.5 Passing Yards & Over/Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Joe Burrow has no choice but to keep throwing for high totals if he won't get support from his defense.

Cincinnati's star quarterback has eclipsed the 300-yard mark in two of his last three games versus the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders.

The Giants have held their last three opponents, to 102 yards or fewer on the ground, so Burrow may be forced to beat them through the air.

The 27-year-old has a four-week streak of multiple passing touchdowns, which is why the over on his passing touchdown prop is listed at -190 at DraftKings.

Burrow to have two passing TDs should be a good parlay piece for Sunday's game, and there's a good chance he goes over on the passing-yard prop with the Giants' recent strengths against the run.

Ja'Marr Chase Over/Under 5.5 Receptions & Over/Under 75.5 Receiving Yards

Sometimes you just have to put your trust in the stars to show up in prime time.

That's the case with Ja'Marr Chase on Sunday night.

The 24-year-old has had at least 80 receiving yards in each of the last three weeks. He has two 100-yard games in that stretch as well as five touchdowns.

Chase scored on multiple occasions in Weeks 3 and 5, so he should be the most popular pick to score a touchdown in the contest.

The LSU product also had at least six catches in three of his five games this season.

With the Bengals' season on the line, we should expect a heavy dose of Chase in the passing game.

Giants Props to Watch

Wan'Dale Robinson Over/Under 54.5 Receiving Yards

Wan'Dale Robinson is the No. 1 target in the Giants passing attack with Malik Nabers out.

Robinson has a juicy matchup against a Bengals defense that allowed over 350 total yards in each of the last three weeks.

His reception prop of over/under 6.5 may be a bit too high for some bettors, but the receiving-yard prop seems easily attainable given his expected volume and matchup.

Robinson had six catches on nine targets for 36 yards in a tougher matchup against the Seattle Seahawks last week.

He is the most trusted pass-catcher Daniel Jones has at the moment, and he should be able to exploit the gaps in the Cincinnati secondary.

Tyrone Tracy Over/Under 57.5 Receiving Yards

Tyrone Tracy is the most fascinating player in the Bengals-Giants matchup.

The rookie out of Purdue will start at running back with Singletary out for another week.

He is coming off an 18-carry, 129-yard performance against the Seahawks, which flashed his name to the front of the fantasy football waiver wire.

Tracy is going up against a Bengals defense that has not held an opponent under 100 rushing yards yet this season.

The matchup suggests Tracy could be in for another big day. He and Robinson are the two most trustworthy skill-position players in the Giants offense right now, so at least the volume will be there to hit the over on his rushing-yard prop.
