Nick Diaz is heading back to the octagon.

The 41-year-old is set to make his UFC return in a fight against Vicente Luque at UFC 310 in Las Vegas, UFC's Dana White announced on Saturday.

Diaz has not fought in UFC since 2021 and has an overall record of 26-10 with 13 knockouts.

That fight came after a six-year absence from the sport. He will take on the 32-year-old Luque, who has a 22-10-1 overall record and has fought four times since Diaz's last bout.

Diaz has not won a fight since 2011 when he took down B.J. Penn by unanimous decision.

Still, he will hope to reclaim some of that glory against Luque and potentially embark on a new stage of his career.

This fight was originally expected to occur in August but Diaz had to drop out due to travel issues. Now, the two will square off on a night that already includes two title bouts, as Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov will contend for the welterweight championship while Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura will face off for the flyweight belt.

UFC 310 will take place on Dec. 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
