Video: Rob Gronkowski Reacts to Viral Gronk Depiction in Aaron Hernandez TV Show
A clip from FX's new show American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez is making the rounds on social media after a hilarious Robert Gronkowski impression.
In an interview with Kay Adams of the Up & Adams show, Gronk explained that the actor portraying him in the show, Laith Wallschleger, is a long-time friend.
"It was definitely over the top," he said. "You want to know a fun fact about that clip? That is my good friend Laith who is playing me there. I've known him for about 14 years and he definitely went over the top, and I feel like it just fit the show perfectly though. Especially with all the other characters and Coach (Bill) Belichick and just seeing Robert Kraft in the show as well. Like I said, over the top, a little exaggerated, that's for sure, but it played the part in how this show was produced."

Gronkowski also said Wallschleger has doubled for him in the past, such as in a commercial for FanDuel's Kick of Destiny.
While the impression of the four-time Super Bowl winner is pretty good, the legendary tight end pointed out a few differences.
"He's shorter than me, though, and he's not as jacked as me, either," Gronkowski said. "But he's alright."
