Bronny was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect before being cleared to return to basketball. After his freshman season with the Trojans, he entered the 2024 NBA draft and was selected by the Lakers with a second-round pick, uniting him with his legendary father.

In the documentary, LeBron took his mother Gloria to meet members of USC's medical staff, including a staff member named Erin who performed CPR on Bronny when the cardiac arrest occurred. The 39-year-old expressed how proud he was to see his son overcome such a tough situation and return to chasing his dreams.

"Nobody in my family ever went to college," LeBron said. "And to see my son playing the game he loves at the collegiate level, but to see where he is as a young man, you're like, 'Wow, it could've been so much more worse for our family.'"

"I think at the end of the day, it was just about us supporting each other and being super grateful for the outcome," Savannah said.
