Davante Adams Rumors: Raiders WR Likely Out vs. Steelers with Injury amid Trade Buzz
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to miss his third consecutive game in Week 6 because of a hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Adams sat out the Raiders' Week 4 win over the Cleveland Browns and Week 5 loss to the Denver Broncos, and Vegas is not likely to have him in the fold for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The star wideout has been the subject of trade rumors in recent weeks, with NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reporting last week that Adams told the Raiders' brass he preferred to play elsewhere.

Rapoport added that Adams would like to be traded to the New York Jets since it would allow him to reunite with his former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
Despite the Jets being Adams' preference, Rapoport reported that several other teams have either checked in on Adams or are squads he would be happy to play for, including the New Orleans Saints, Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.
On Wednesday, Fowler reported that the Jets and Saints are "in the driver's seat" when it comes to acquiring Adams since he values playing with a quarterback he is familiar with.
Adams spent several seasons playing with Rodgers in Green Bay, but he was also college teammates with Saints quarterback Derek Carr at Fresno State before playing alongside him with the Raiders in 2022.
Fowler suggested the Saints may be the favorites over the Jets in the Adams sweepstakes since they "are willing to be aggressive."
As for the Raiders, they are off to a 2-3 start this season and could soon be compelled to make a quarterback change if they continue to struggle.
Vegas signed veteran Gardner Minshew during the offseason, but he has thrown four touchdowns and five interceptions in five games this season, and he is coming off a 137-yard, one-touchdown, two-interception performance in a 34-18 loss to the Broncos last week.
Aidan O'Connell, who started 10 games as a rookie fourth-round pick last season, is waiting in the wings.
Fowler speculated that Adams' desire to be traded is primarily due to the fact that the Raiders have had such an unsettled quarterback situation since they parted ways with Carr.
Without Adams in the lineup Sunday, it could be a struggle once again for Minshew or O'Connell should he get the opportunity to see the field.
Aside from Adams, the Raiders have only two wide receivers on the roster with more than two catches this season in Jakobi Meyers (25 receptions for 273 yards and one touchdown) and Tre Tucker (18 receptions for 190 yards and one touchdown).
The Raiders also figure to lean heavily on rookie tight end Brock Bowers, who leads the team with 28 catches for 313 yards on the season.
With Adams set to miss another game and the trade rumors surrounding him continuing to heat up, it is possible Adams has already played his final game in the silver and black.
