Jayden Daniels Likened to 'Superman' by Commanders' Jeremy Reaves Amid Winning Streak

Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has led the Washington Commanders to a 4-1 start this season and is now being compared to a local hero known for his extraordinary stamina, agility, reflexes, and instincts.

"He came in like Superman," Commanders' safety Jeremy Reaves said according to ESPN's John Keim.

After losing their first game 37-20 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Week 1, the Commanders have won four straight with the last two being by more than three touchdowns.

The 23-year-old out of LSU has completely turned around a Commander's team that finished 4-13 just one season ago.

"I'm just excited for those guys to have this feeling," Daniels said about players who have adorned burgundy and gold for a while. "It's exciting times. But we have to get back to work. We're on to the next week now."

Daniels boasts a regular-season pass completion rate of 77 percent, throwing for 1,135 yards.

In his sixth season with the Commanders, wide receiver Terry McLaurin said the vibes amongst the team are "really high," as Washington comes off a 34-13 win against the Browns and looks forward to their next game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 13.
