Jaguars Rumors: Trevor Lawrence Threw Tablet, Gabe Davis Held Back In Altercation
Tensions seem to be running high for the 0-4 Jacksonville Jaguars.
During coverage of Sunday's game between the Jaguars and Miami Dolphins, Aditi Kinkhabwala of CBS Sports reported that quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw a tablet and wide receiver Gabe Davis yelled at him during an exchange.
Davis was even held back by offensive lineman Brandon Scherff, although they eventually talked things out.

Andrew Joseph of USA Today's For the Win noted the play that led to the altercation was a third-down one in the first half.
Davis was wide open, but Lawrence instead threw a shorter check down. The quarterback was clearly upset with himself when he saw the play considering he was the one who threw the tablet, and the wide receiver elevated the situation as well.
Jacksonville signed Davis this offseason as one of the team's major additions, but he has not been on the same page with Lawrence in the early going this season.
He entered Sunday's game with just nine catches for 121 yards and zero touchdowns on the campaign, which is a far cry from his production with the Buffalo Bills. He had more than 500 receiving yards in each of his four seasons with Buffalo, including when he posted 836 in 2022.
Davis also tallied a combined 27 touchdowns with the Bills.
Fortunately for Jacksonville, the incident didn't prevent it from taking a 13-10 lead into the halftime locker room thanks in large part to Lawrence's 85-yard touchdown pass to rookie Brian Thomas Jr.
