Titans Rival Coach: Will Levis Will Be Benched for Mason Rudolph, 'Matter of Time'
Will Levis' time as the Tennessee Titans starting quarterback may be limited.
An AFC South coach told Dianna Russini of The Athletic that it is "only a matter of time" before backup quarterback Mason Rudolph takes over as the Titans' starter.
This comes after head coach Brian Callahan committed to Levis despite Rudolph entering the team's Week 4 victory over the Miami Dolphins and running the offense effectively after Levis was injured.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
Levis has experienced some significant struggles in his second season. He has thrown for 604 yards with four touchdowns and six interceptions in 2024 while leading the team to a 1-3 start.
He left after making four passes in the victory over the Dolphins and the team leaned heavily on Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears in the run game with Rudolph under center. Levis suffered an AC joint sprain in the game and likely would have been unavailable if the team had a game in Week 5, per Titans insider Paul Kuharsky.
Rudolph went 9-of-17 for 85 yards in Levis' absence. While this output wasn't necessarily impressive, he didn't turn the ball over and helped the offense possess the ball for 34:52.
Tennessee would prefer that Levis continues to develop and limit the turnovers, but Rudolph avoiding mistakes while helping the offense function in his absence shows he could inevitably be the one under center at some point this season.
