Bucs' Baker Mayfield, Falcons' Kirk Cousins Each Donate $50K to Hurricane Relief
Ahead of their Thursday Night Football matchup, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield announced they are donating $50,000 to go towards relief for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
The two announced they are working with Team Rubicon, a disaster-relief organization, to help aid first responders, volunteers and the communities damaged by the storm.
"They have volunteers on the frontlines getting their hands dirty, getting involved to do all the work that it takes to clean up," Cousins said in a video posted to his X account.

Added Mayfield: "Their dedicated volunteers are working tirelessly to assist those in need, ensuring that help will be able to reach every single corner of the affected areas."
Last week, Hurricane Helene impacted Mayfield's Florida and Cousins' Georgia along with upstate South Carolina, western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee.
Along with their donations, Mayfield and Cousins issued a call to action to fans to donate what they are able to, directing them to Team Rubicon's website to do so.
As Mayfield and Cousins come together to rally their fans to help with hurricane relief, they will face off against one another on Thursday. Atlanta comes into the matchup 2-2 while the Bucs are 3-1 on the year, and both teams are looking for a big NFC South win.
