UFC's Ottman Azaitar Saves Manager Ali Abdelaziz from Drowning on Video

UFC star Ottman Azaitar recently rescued his manager from a scary situation.

Azaitar and his manager, Ali Abdelaziz, were swimming near a waterfall in Hawaii along with others recently, and Abdelaziz started to drown in the fast-moving water.

Azaitar then assisted Abdelaziz to a place where he could stand before retrieving a vine to help pull him to shore.

The incident was caught on video and released by TMZ Sports:

According to TMZ Sports, Abdelaziz has recovered from the situation and is doing well.

"Ottman's a great kid. He has a big heart. He literally saved my life," he said.

The trip to Hawaii came ahead of UFC 307 this weekend, where Kayla Harrison, who is represented by Abdelaziz, will take on Ketlen Vieira in a women's bantamweight bout.

Harrison, who has a 17-1 career record, has won back-to-back fights. Her most recent victory came in April at UFC 300, and she'll look to pick up another win this Saturday.

Azaitar is not on the card for UFC 307, and his last fight came in July 2023 when he lost to Francisco Prado. The 34-year-old has a 13-2 record with 10 knockouts, and he doesn't have any contests scheduled this year.
