"I've already filmed," Daly said. "We're getting it done. Coming out on Netflix, maybe in March, April of next year."
The film officially began production on Sept. 9. Sandler is set to reprise his role as the titular character, Christopher McDonald will also play the role of Shooter McGavin once again and Julie Bowen will return to her role as Gilmore's love interest.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was already confirmed to have a guest role and Daly's confirmation shows that he will have one as well.
Daly has won two Major Championships and five total PGA tournament wins. He currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions, which serves players over the age of 50.
While a plot has not been released for the sequel, Daly's presence should make it interesting.
