Video: Bronny James Jokes About LeBron Scoring on Him in Lakers Scrimmage

The NBA is currently in the midst of its 2024-2025 media day and unsurprisingly, the spotlight is on the first father-son duo to play on the same team in the league.

Bronny and LeBron James suited up in purple and gold for the first time and the internet has been buzzing following the release of their first pictures in Lakers uniforms together.

Teammates, media and fans alike are thrilled to see the duo on the court together, but they seem even more excited about the prospect of seeing them go head-to-head during team scrimmages.

"We got switched on the, kind of mid-post area... he spun baseline and went up and under," Bronny said. "The refs that were reffing that game... his foot stepped on the line a little bit. I got that stop," he continued with a laugh.

Bronny was drafted by the Lakers in the second round with the No. 55 pick, joining LeBron in his seventh season with the franchise.

"It was for sure different," Bronny said when asked about what it was like to face his father on the court compared to the driveway at home.

Bronny is expected to make his first appearance for the Lakers on Friday, Oct. 4, as they face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
