Davante Adams, Maxx Crosby Out for Raiders vs. Browns with Hamstring, Ankle Injuries
The Las Vegas Raiders will be without two key players as they take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Per The Athletic's Tashan Reed, defensive end Maxx Crosby will be out with an ankle injury while star wide receiver Davante Adams will miss the contest with a hamstring injury. Along with the two stars, tight end Michael Mayer won't play due to personal reasons.
Through three games this season, Crosby recorded 14 tackles and three sacks, on pace to pass his career-high 14.5 sacks he had a season ago. He suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Raiders' Week 2 win against the Baltimore Ravens but played the following week against the Carolina Panthers.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮
While he was on the field against Carolina, he missed 13 defensive snaps, a rare occurrence for the workhorse who has never missed a game in his six-year career. After his unproductive outing in a loss to the Panthers, he'll now be sidelined for the first time.
Adams has had a frustrating start to the season, recording just 209 receiving yards and a touchdown through three games. He was productive in Week 2, recording 110 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win over the Ravens, but picked up just 40 receiving yards as Carolina walloped Las Vegas on Sunday.
Like Crosby, it's rare for Adams to be sidelined as he's played in every game over the past two seasons. The six-time Pro Bowler will now have to miss his first game as a Raider as he looks to nurse his hamstring injury back to health.
With Adams out, Las Vegas will look to Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker to keep the wide receiver room afloat. Luckily for the Raiders, rookie tight end Brock Bowers has already proved to be a reliable option, picking up 197 receiving yards on 18 receptions through three games, and his workload will likely increase this week.
