Aaron Rodgers Praises 'Unbelievable' Jayden Daniels After Commanders' Win vs. Bengals
New York Jets star Aaron Rodgers was among those who caught Jayden Daniels' impressive showing as the rookie quarterback helped the Washington Commanders beat the Cincinnati Bengals 38-33.
Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show that Daniels had an "unbelievable performance" and "played incredibly well." He added that he watched a lot of college tape on the former LSU star because he was scouting ex-Tigers wideouts Brian Thomas Jr. and Malik Nabers, who were potential draft targets for the Jets.

"Unbelievable" might sell Daniels short. He was nearly perfect against Cincinnati, finishing 21-of-23 for 254 yards and two touchdowns through the air. He was also Washington's leading rusher, going for 39 yards and one score on 12 carries.
It's way too early into Daniels' career to attach any greater significance to what unfolded on Monday night. But that doesn't mean fans shouldn't get excited about his obvious potential, especially for a team that has been starved of a viable starting solution ever since Kirk Cousins' exit in 2018.
Clearly other QBs around the league are taking notice of the 23-year-old as well.
