Video: Jake Paul Says He'll Wear $1M Shorts for Mike Tyson Fight; Most Expensive Ever
Jake Paul is sparing no expense for his upcoming boxing match with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
In a video with Complex's Joe La Puma recorded at Stadium Goods in New York (starts at 7:45 mark), Paul explained he will be wearing "the most expensive fight shorts" ever with a price tag of $1 million for the full wardrobe.
Paul is once again collaborating with the Shoe Surgeon to design his outfit for the highly-anticipated bout. He previously wore a $100,000 outfit that included custom-made Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 boxing boots with a black and white jacket.
This isn't the first time that Paul has looked to exceed the $1 million price tag with his boxing attire. He said his shorts for the rematch with Tyron Woodley would be worth around $1.2 million.
The shorts brought Paul good luck, as he scored a sixth-round knockout win over the former UFC champion.
Paul and Tyson are currently scheduled to square off on Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium. The bout was originally set to take place on July 20, but Tyson had an ulcer issue that popped up in May that forced the match to be postponed.
This will be Tyson's first sanctioned boxing match since 2005. His last appearance in the ring was an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020.
Paul has a 10-1 career record in his professional boxing career. He most recently defeated Mike Perry via TKO on July 20 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida after Tyson was unable to compete on that date.
